What is YITBA?

YITBA is a sub-division of the ITBA (Irish Thoroughbred Breeders Association). Our objective is to provide a platform for any person 18+ wishing to learn more about the industry.  We have set up a steering committee and this association will be run by young people for young people.  We are committed to promoting, protecting and educating young breeders to ensure the future of the breeding and racing industry in this country.


What Is the YITBA Apprenticeship?

One years work experience for two YITBA members within the industry consisting of four 3 month segments.  Each apprentice will choose four positions from a possible eight sectors.  Interviews have occured and the first years successful candidates will be announced shortly.
